Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2020

It’s an exciting week here at Digital Ethos as we prepare for the regional finals of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards. Our Managing Director, Luke Tobin, has been nominated for Service Industries Entrepreneur of the Year, representing the Midlands at this year’s virtual awards.

The awards, founded in 2013 and sponsored by Starling Bank, seek to recognise hard work and celebrate, champion and support enterprising minds in the United Kingdom. The winner of the award will demonstrate commitment and flair for their sector, and exhibit industry-honed skills to innovate and offer something unique in their field.

Francesca James, Founder of Great British Entrepreneur Awards, said: “Given what we’ve seen over the past few months, the 2020 edition of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards is arguably the most important. Now, more than ever, it’s vital that we celebrate the achievements of the country’s entrepreneurs and their determination in the face of such adversity.”

Luke, who launched the agency from his bedroom back in 2013, has been shortlisted for the Service Industries Entrepreneur of the Year Award for his ability to adapt and thrive throughout the recent months. Whilst the recent pandemic has negatively impacted many businesses, Luke’s entrepreneurial spirit has paved the way to success for Digital Ethos and allowed the agency to enjoy client wins and substantial growth throughout this period.

Luke explains: “I am genuinely honoured to receive this nomination, it’s testament to the whole agency team who continue to adapt to the ever-changing digital environment. At Digital Ethos, we understand that we are the first generation to live in a truly digital age and we’re excited to work with more businesses of all shapes and sizes who are shifting to ‘online only’.

The vision for the next twelve months is growth. Not only as a business but through expanding our network, local impact and most importantly – knowledge. Being recognised for this makes it all worthwhile.”

Good luck to all of the finalists!
