WHAT WE DID
WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
THE BRIEF
QueerViBE is the collaborative project of a team of researchers based at Anglia Ruskin University and University of Greenwich. The aim of this intervention is to empower young trans and non-binary youth to help them navigate stressful situations with others. After hearing the goals of QueerViBE from its founder, Sam, we discussed how the website would achieve the requirements of providing key information on the intervention, how to participate and the community aspect of the website.
OUR APPROACH
Digital Ethos drafted out a wireframe of the website to show the flow and journey of the pages and how users would use it. We also built the first pages on a development site to show how the website will look and the main design elements. We then built the communtiy aspect of the site and demonstated a live preview for a user signing up to creating a profile as a member.
THE RESULTS
QueerViBE were over the moon and said we exceeded expectations with not only the functionality of the website, but then design elements as well. They are now proceeding to market the website and aim to help and support its members going forward. We’re very pleased to be part of such a good project.
