Established in 1926 and part of the Indutrade group since 2014. Birmingham Specialities experienced team based across two Birmingham locations are committed to offering a complete manufacturing service to suit their customers needs. They specialise in precision presswork, manufacturing systems, tooling manufacturing, sub-assembly, surface finishing and more.

The Challenge.

Birmingham Specialities had a very outdated website and brand identity that needed a full redesign in order to appear professional and stay ahead of their competitors online. They came to DE and after consultation meetings, we began with the brand identity first, then the website.

The Approach.

We came up with and presented 2 branding concepts to offer a choice. Birmingham Specialities very quickly fell in love with the first concept and chose it to be developed further and to be used for the new website.

Once we had the new brand identity, we then moved onto the website design and build. Following on from the research collected, we knew we needed a clean and modern website that was easy to use and engaged the user. It was important to not overwhelm visitors to the site with lots of text and disengaging layouts.

The Result.

With the new brand identity, we designed and built a new website that proved a major improvement on their old website and now acts as a key selling/marketing tool.
