About the role
As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving growth by generating sales leads and booking calls between directors and C-level executives from prospective clients. Your focus will be on utilising your business development skills to identify opportunities, engage decision-makers, and nurture leads throughout the sales process.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business leads
- Conduct thorough market research
- Qualify leads by conducting in-depth questioning and needs analysis
- Present our unique value proposition and tailored digital marketing solutions to senior staff and C-level executives
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams
- Schedule appointments and coordinate calls between senior staff and C-level executives from prospective clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, leads, and interactions in our CRM system
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, digital marketing advancements, and emerging technologies
About you
- Proven experience in a business development or sales role within the digital marketing industry, preferably with expertise in areas such as SEO, PPC, social media marketing, or related services.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing concepts, strategies, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging and building rapport with senior-level executives and decision-makers.
- Demonstrated success in generating new business leads and converting them into scheduled appointments.
- Exceptional negotiation and persuasion abilities
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively to achieve targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales software for lead management, tracking, and reporting.
- Results-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and driving revenue growth in a fast-paced environment.
